  1. Finally! You've just created the definitive Xbox One Elite Controller disassembly video that so many have been searching for since its release! Incredibly descriptive, well spoken, professional caliber disassembly and filmed with angles everyone can view. Somehow you managed this immense feat without blasting techno music over your audio as well…My mind has been blown!

  2. my problem is taking those grips off, I can't seem to get them off as easily as you can, any recommendations??? (my right bumper broke so Im replacing it)

  3. Great video! Thanks for sharing 🙂
I'd have one question if you don't mind to answer… have you seen all those videos with a broken xbox elite controller? The part that usually breaks is the left stick (sometimes also the right one). It's like they get loose and the metal part inside the controller "dances". Do you know if the solution is just to substitute that part? or you also have to substitute the part of the left stick that is soldered to the mainboard?

  4. Great video. Thank you.
Would you please demonstrate replacement of the potentiometer stick controller on the xbox elite controller? Please let us know the best replacement part (number and manufacturer). Can't seem to find repair options but to do it myself. Thanks

  5. Apparently my controller uses security versions of those first 4 screws…? Regular T8 did not work because the screws have something protruding out of the middle, meaning I would need to buy a T8 with a hole in the middle. Have you run into that issue before?

  6. Hey I could use some help!
So my ribbon came off when I was putting my controller back together
I was wondering which side of the ribbon needs to be facing the circuit board when I insert it.

    Thanks!

  7. I am replacing the bumpers on mine, i ordered a popular replacement bumper bar and when i install it i don't get a clicking sound from the bumpers, I'm pretty sure this is due to the bumpers constantly pressing down on the switches. I could trim down the pieces that press down on the switches, I really don't think I'm doing anything wrong but maybe I am… This is without a doubt the best disassembly on Youtube, it's helped me a lot, I just wish I could get this to work.
    (EDIT):
Got it. For anyone else, I bent the bumpers towards me (the top of the controller) and it worked great. Just know when testing that they won't work unless you push the trigger down first, as the backplate is currently off and theres nothing to stop the triggers from catching on the bumpers. 😀

    I bought these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IX4O77Q/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The Beracah Bumpers Triggers Buttons, eta.
Good luck reader if your trying to fix yours!

  8. Needed to replace broken bumpers and this is, by far, the best breakdown on YouTube. Other videos dealing specifically with the bumpers were shaky or focused on the guy's arm. Good job.

  9. it looks like you need to screw in the very bottom circuit board that has the paddle buttons on right or it won't close good
