The video gaming industry's development and future

It is usually tough to visualize what folks did with their hands and minds in the days before home PCs, Nintendo game consoles and other sorts of digital entertainment. Human hands are perfectly shaped to fit joysticks and mice — or could it be the other way around?

Both the PC and Nintendo game industries have seriously changed home entertainment. Now, those two industries are rapidly becoming the same thing.

Do you know about the Magnavox Odyssey? Released in 1972, it was actually the very first widely-released gaming console. Shortly, one cheap device connected into a high tech, fixed on a wall monitor will offer users a complete entertainment experience. Actually some TVs coming on the market in the next few years will be offering pretty much every gaming alternative users can imagine — and they’re ready for ones that do not even exist in the minds of their designers yet.

But do not worry. Retro will alwaysbe in, too. Pong is still free for most gaming formats — and still selling like it’s 1975.
