The first step to fix this problem is to re-install iTunes, followed by ensuring your Internet connection is working fine, as well as then making sure that the iTunes program has sufficient privileges to connect to the Internet correctly. We’ve found that in order to do this properly, there are several steps you must take, which are outlined here:

  • Click Add / Remove Programs
  • Click Apple iTunes
  • Remove this program by clicking the “Remove” button
