  1. Tesla's build quality continues to improve every month. They are very pro active about solving problems.
    I read a few months ago that Tesla hired a new product manager to focus on reducing the manufacturing defect rate.
    Since Tesla does all its own repairs in its Service Centers they collect a lot of data regarding repairs. This allows them to react quickly to problems and to even remanufacture parts or modify the design if necessary. Elon has said that they make many small and large changes to the cars every month. He said a car you buy 3 months from now have small and large changes from one bought earlier. Auto pilot 2 hardware and Software upgrades are just two examples. Things like adding the center console, redesigning door seals, the front end refresh, redesigned hood, better computer power, stereo upgrades, fit and finish alignment tolerances and making improvements to reduce road noise are just a few examples. As an early adopter of new technology people are usually more tolerant of issues as long as they get repaired. Tesla has a reputation for taking better care of its customers than most auto manufacturers. Ever try to get a loaner vehicle from other manufacturers. Changing the world to sustainable transportation is a big goal and not an easy one. You are helping to do that by buying a Tesla. Climate Change is real. It will be the defining issue of our lives.
