PS Plus subscribers are gearing up for the October 2017 line-up, with Sony set to make the big announcement on the upcoming PS4 free games next week.

The current PS Plus line-up for September 2017 is headlined by inFamous: Second Son and Child of Light.

But those PS4 free games are set to make way for a new line-up of games, that expects will be announced on Wednesday.

While the upcoming line-up is shrouded in mystery, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see a horror game included ahead of Halloween.

Members of the PlayStation Plus Reddit page, which has correctly predicted a number of line-ups this year, have given their picks for October 2017.

Redditors on that subreddit correctly predicted games that would feature in the line-ups for SEVEN out of the nine months this year.

And for October a number of Reddit users have said they’re expecting a Resident Evil game to be included in the PS Plus October 2017 line-up.

Predictions include Resident Evil 0 Remaster or Resident Evil Revelations 2.

A Resident Evil game for October 2017 could be a distinct possibility, given the line-up for the same time last year.

In October 2016 PS Plus subscribers were able to download for free Resident Evil HD alongside Transformers Devastation.

Resident Evil HD is the remaster of the Gamecube remake of the original Resident Evil, which appeared on the PlayStation.

PS Plus subscribers only have a few days to find out what will be included in the October 2017 line-up.

But ahead of it PlayStation Plus members have been given a welcome boost.

This week at the Tokyo Game Show 2017 Square Enix announced the PlayStation classic Final Fantasy 9 was coming to the PS4.

Motorola Moto X4 will launch in India on October 3. The company has started sending press invites for the launch of the Moto X4 in India. While the invitation doesn’t provide any information on what Motorola will launch or unveil, the picture on the invite is a pretty clear signal at the arrival of the Moto X4 in the country.

This shouldn’t surprise anyone, given the fact the company has recently started putting out teasers for the phone on its Twitter handle. Moto X4 will be launched in India on October 3, but we have yet to learn when exactly it will be available and how much it will cost. The smartphone was first announced last month at the annual IFA tradeshow in Berlin.

For those who’re interested, Moto X4 offers a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080) display, a Snapdragon 630 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal memory, microSD card support, and a 3,000mAh battery inside. Like other Motorola smartphones, Moto X4 runs a pure version of Android Nougat. On the camera front, Moto X4 has a dual-camera setup, comprising of a 12MP and 8MP sensor. Also, add a 16MP shooter in the front of the phone for self portraits and video calling.

Moto X4 will have a lot to live up to, considering the competition is getting fierce in the premium mid-end segment. When launched in India, Moto X4 will be directly compared to the OnePlus 5, Vivo V7+, and Honor 8 Pro. The latter smartphone, especially, has been praised for its superior camera and overall performance.

Moto X4 launches in the pre-Diwali season when a lot of other players will also be offering their newer smartphones. We’ll have to see how the Moto X4 is priced in India. The Moto Z2 Play is currently the latest premium offering in India from the company at a price of Rs 27,999.

$50 Google Home Mini leaks online ahead of October 4 Pixel event

Why it matters to you

If you’re looking for a Google Assistant speaker to place in all your rooms, the Google Home Mini might be the affordable option for you.

The Amazon Echo has been well received for a number of reasons, including the fact that you don’t necessarily always have to buy a full Amazon Echo for each room. Google has already launched its full-sized Google Home speaker, but now it’s launching a more affordable speaker that you can put in each room — rumored to be called the Google Home Mini.

The Google Home Mini has been rumored for some time now, but the latest leak gives us a pretty good look at what the speaker is supposed to look like. The leak, which comes from Droid-Life, shows off a puck-shaped speaker in three colors — which happen to match the leaked colors for the Google Daydream headset.

According to the leak, the speaker will be available in Chalk, Charcoal, and Coral colors, and it seems as though the speaker will be powered — not wireless — based on the leaked images. That’s not necessarily a bad thing — the idea here is that you’ll be able to get a speaker for each room.

Of course, if you’re buying one for each room, you’ll probably want something pretty affordable, and thankfully the Home Mini reportedly will be. You’ll be able to get one for $50.

The Home Mini should be able to do pretty much everything the standard Google Home can. It’ll come with Google Assistant, and will allow you to schedule things, set reminders, and so on — like Google Assistant on the Home speaker and on an Android phone. The speaker in the device may not be as loud as the standard Google Home, but it will be great for those who don’t necessarily need a loud speaker or those who simply want things like smart home control.

The Google Home Mini isn’t the first non-Home speaker to be launched with Google Assistant. In the past few months, we’ve seen a few devices launch from the likes of JBL, Mobvoi, and even Panasonic, coming in at different price points and with different focuses. The thing that really brings them all together, however, is Google Assistant, which powers all of the speakers. Check out our full list of the Assistant-powered speakers to be launched so far.

A commercial satellite has arrived in Cape Canaveral for the Space Coast’s next launch, planned in early October by a SpaceX rocket that will be lifting off for the second time.

Jointly owned by Luxembourg-based SES and Colorado-headquartered EchoStar Corp., the more than 11,000-pounds communications satellite was shipped from Toulouse, France, but manufacturer Airbus Defense and Space.

The satellite known as EchoStar 105/SES-11 will provide digital television and broadband data services in North America, including the United States, Hawaii, Mexico and the Caribbean.

The mission will re-use a Falcon 9 rocket that launched a NASA supply mission to the International Space Station in February.

It will be the third time SpaceX has launched a previously flown — or what the company calls “flight proven” — booster, as it aims to make reusing rockets more routine.

SES was the customer for the first of those flights back in March, also used a rocket from a ISS resupply mission launched about a year earlier.

In June, a Falcon rocket that had launched commercial satellites in January lifted off again with a Bulgarian communications satellite.

The upcoming launch from pad 39A at Kennedy Space Center is tentatively expected in the first week of October, but no date has been announced.

SpaceX separately is targeting an Oct. 4 launch of Iridium Communications satellites from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California.

Vandenberg at 10:38 p.m. this Thursday (1:38 a.m. Friday Eastern time) will host United Launch Alliance’s attempt to deliver a classified U.S. intelligence mission to orbit on an Atlas V rocket.

ULA plans to follow that flight with another Atlas V launch of a National Reconnaissance Office mission from Cape Canaveral in October.

Moto X4 expected to launch in India on October 3rd

“The Moto X4 sports IP68 water resistance and dual rear cameras”

Just yesterday, Motorola teased the launch of a new X series smartphone in India. The brand’s teasers hinted at the launch of the Moto X4 in the country. Today, the company has scheduled a press event in India on October 3rd. While the brand’s invite doesn’t mention the exact name of the smartphone to be launched in the country, the large “X” with the #XperiencePerfection hashtag in the invite clearly suggests it’s the Moto X4.

Moto X4 Invite India

For the uninitiated, the Moto X4 was unveiled in September at the IFA consumer electronics show in Berlin. It comes as a mid-range offering with a dual camera setup at the rear. The phone has a 12-megapixel primary shooter at the back, mated to an 8-megapixel secondary snapper. The twin camera setup also gets phase detection autofocus and a dual-LED flash unit. For selfies, the device has been provided with a 16-megapixel snapper with f/2.0 aperture and a front LED flash unit.

It comes with a fingerprint sensor, which is placed beneath the physical home button. The handset offers a 5.2-inch full HD AMOLED display. Under the hood, it packs in a 2.0GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, mated to Adreno 508 graphics.

The Moto X4 comes in two RAM and storage configurations – 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB. In terms of connectivity, it offers dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, VoLTE (voice over LTE), NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and A-GPS. Software-wise, it runs a near-stock version of Android 7.1 Nougat with a few Moto enhancements. Powering the phone is a 3,000mAh battery that supports TurboCharging technology.

SpaceX weathers Irma, no delays to busy October launch schedule

Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station were largely spared the brunt of Hurricane Irma due to last-second changes to its projected path. Both SpaceX and ULA have since reported that damages to their facilities are minimal and unlikely to contribute to any delays in upcoming launches, of which SpaceX has several.

Several days before Hurricane Irma reached Florida, the storm projected to make landfall almost directly on Cape Canaveral, stoking fears of spaceflight journalists and forcing the evacuation of several living on the Space Coast. While Irma’s course veered southeast as it neared the Space Coast, Cape Canaveral eventually experienced some level of heavy rain, flooding, and high winds on Sunday and Monday. A NASA flyover of Kennedy Space Center illustrated this best, with very little damage visible from the helicopter, aside from some limited flooding and some mild damage to the roofs of several buildings.

Modern facilities at the Cape are generally built to tolerate Category 5 winds of 150 mph, and Irma appeared to potentially pose a threat to even those structures in the early days of forecasts. However, with maximum recorded winds of around 100 mph from Irma, worries more centered around tornadoes formed by the hurricane, as well as more temporary structures that were under construction. Gwynne Shotwell commented on this earlier today, speaking at the World Satellite Business Week meeting in Paris, France. SpaceX’s President said that LC-39A and SLC-40 looked fine in initial flyovers performed by the company. Her main concern was an array of construction materials and temporary shelters currently at SLC-40 that were exceptionally vulnerable to hurricane conditions.

SpaceX’s LC-39A launch pad seen from a NASA helicopter on 9/12. Thankfully, no damage is readily apparent. (NASA)

Following natural (and unnatural) disasters at Kennedy Space Center and CCAFS, access is restricted to a select crew of emergency reaction teams that are tasked with combing through the myriad facilities and cataloging any serious damage and potential dangers for workers. Once they are finished with their surveys, nonessential personnel are allowed to return to their workplaces and begin their own surveys and repairs. CCAFS and the 45th Space Wing began allowing nonessential personnel back into the facility on Tuesday, while Kennedy Space Center may open its gates on Thursday. Once allowed back in, SpaceX can begin their own damage survey and conduct any necessary repairs.

The company is planning to conduct its next East Coast launch as early as October 2nd, with a second October launch from Florida expected no earlier than October 14th. SpaceX is also scheduled to launch Iridium’s third group of ten NEXT satellites from California on October 4th, so the company has an extremely busy month ahead. Thankfully, with more than two weeks between now and next launch, SpaceX will likely have plenty of time to undertake all necessary repairs, so long as damage is minimal.

While SpaceX was spared, those more directly in the path of Irma were not nearly as lucky. In Florida, nearly 25% of all residents were without power for days, and many millions are still waiting for utility companies to repair widespread damage to their infrastructure. Many homes have undoubtedly been destroyed beyond repair. Floridans were largely spared from the deadly threat of Irma by widespread evacuation orders on the East coast, but most residents of islands along Irma’s path had nowhere to evacuate. Dozens of deaths have been reported in Barbados, the Virgin Islands, and other islands. Many more were killed and injured in Cuba. Recovery from Irma will undoubtedly take many years.

The action with the highest vote is used to continue the story and hopefully make both women capture The Trapper. Knowledge is Power is a trivia game with 5,000 questions where you can use special powers to try and prevent opponents from answering questions. SingStar Celebration is a karaoke game with 30 songs included and more available to purchase.

Frantics will appear on March 13, 2018. This is a minigame collection where each player picks a different animal and attempts to beat their opponents in 15 different activities.
