Call of Duty: WWII’s Download Size Revealed

Around the earlier pair of yrs, the Call of Obligation online games have gotten a very little significant in obtain size, with Black Ops III clearing all around 60GB with all of its downloadable articles, and Infinite Warfare going over 90GB, largely mainly because of the addition of Call of Obligation: Present day Warfare Remastered.

But when it comes to the obtain size of Call of Obligation: WWII, you likely don’t need to have to fret as well a lot – but do preserve some room on your difficult generate for it.

In accordance to this Xbox Retailer listing, the World War II shooter clocks in at all around 45.14GB, which isn’t which include its nonetheless-to-be-introduced downloadable articles or updates. By the time individuals roll all around, we’re probably to see the activity expand to all around 60GB or so. But, for now, it is not as well undesirable.

What is extra, the activity is now obtainable for pre-load on Xbox A person, so if you pre-requested it digitally, you can now obtain it and get ready for working day one particular action when the activity releases future month. As for the PlayStation 4 edition, it is not anticipated to be obtainable for pre-load until eventually October 31st or November 1st, while that date could transform based on what Sony would like to do.

The Laptop edition has not been introduced for pre-load nonetheless, but Activision is probably to have extra information obtainable shortly.

Even though a start time has not been presented on when you are going to be able to obtain Call of Obligation: WWII, it will probably be at 12 AM EDT setting up on the 3rd, so players can hop into the action. That could be matter to transform, as we have noticed online games like Future 2 go for a extra calculated around the world launch, but for now, that looks to be the prepare.

We’re not absolutely sure if that 45GB size will hold up on all platforms, as the Laptop edition could range based on overall performance on units. But which is probably to be the over-all selection for console variations at minimum, so you can prepare forward and make absolutely sure you’ve bought more than enough house for this beast. Immediately after all, you don’t want to miss out on out on that extreme World War II action.

Call of Obligation: WWII releases on November 3rd for Xbox A person, PlayStation 4 and Laptop.

Download the Android Oreo beta for your OnePlus 3 or 3T

OnePlus has earned itself quite a reputation for pushing out new Android builds to its users, and it’s no different with Android 8.0 Having previously announced that Oreo would be the last major update for the OnePlus 3 and 3T, the Chinese smartphone-maker has now made a beta version available to everyone.

Just last month, a closed group was given access to an early Oreo beta for the OnePlus 3, but now the OnePlus Open Beta program means that anyone who likes the idea of trying out Android 8.0 on their handset can do so.

For the most part, updating to Oreo brings new features, but OnePlus notes that the OnePlus Music app has been removed from this build. If this is something you would like to continue using, all is not lost; you can download the OnePlus Music APK and install the app manually.

OnePlus says the update offers the following changes, pointing out a few inevitable quirks of working with beta software:

  • Update to Android O (8.0)
  • Added Picture in Picture
  • Added Auto-fill
  • Added Smart text selection
  • New Quick Settings design
  • Updated security patch to September

  • Added notification dots
  • Now able to upload photos directly to Shot on OnePlus

Known issues of the first Android O Beta

  • Fingerprint unlock may be a bit slow in some situations
  • Shortcut to access Google Photos is unavailable
  • Stability of NFC and Bluetooth need to be improved
  • Performance and compatibility of 3rd party apps will be optimized continuously
  • Complete device tree will be released after a week

For OnePlus 3 users, the Oreo beta is being delivered in the form of OxygenOS Open Beta 25, while for OnePlus 3T users it’s OxygenOS Open beta 16. You can download the 1.4GB updates from these links, and on the pages OnePlus has provided full instructions for how to flash your phone.

How to download Xbox One X 4K game assets on your regular Xbox One

With the Xbox One X around the corner, the regular old Xbox One will allow you to begin preparing for the big day by downloading 4K assets in advance.

The Xbox One X is a 4K behemoth capable of running games at UHD resolutions with 60 frames per second and HDR. Dozens of games are slated to receive free updates to take advantage of the X’s significant 6TF power boost, and you can begin preparing for that eventuality today.

In the latest 1710 update slated for launch in October 2017, the Xbox will gain the ability to download 4K assets early to help prepare for the transfer to the Xbox One X, either via local storage or network transfer. Naturally, the 4K assets won’t make your games look better on your existing Xbox One, you’ll need the X for that. This just helps you get ready to make the move across.

Here’s how to take advantage of the new 4K assets and check to see whether they have downloaded.

  1. Open up the Guide by pressing the Xbox button on your controller.
  2. Navigate to the right using the joystick to the System cogwheel.

  3. Use the “A” button to access Settings.
  4. Use the joystick and “A” button to access System.
  5. Use the joystick and “A” button to select Backup & transfer.

  6. Put a check in the box which says Download 4K game content.

  7. Press the “B” button to go back to the System menu.
  8. Now select Updates with the “A” button.
  9. Put a check in the box that says Keep my games & apps up to date.

Now, when you have enough storage space, the Xbox One will begin updating your games automatically with “Enhanced” 4K assets. Like it says in the warning, these file sizes can be astronomically huge, and the Xbox currently doesn’t give you a great deal of control when it comes to downloading assets for specific games.

You can check whether a game has installed 4K assets or not using the following method, usable as of the 1710 Xbox update.

Check whether 4K assets are installed

  1. Open up the Guide by pressing the Xbox button on your controller.
  2. Navigate down to the Games & apps button shown here.

  3. If a game is downloading 4K assets, it should appear in the Updates tab.
  4. You can check if a game has 4K assets by selecting it, by pressing Right bumper, left bumper, menu and view simultaneously.

  5. You will see this screen depicting “Assets installed,” if you see an “X,” that means the game is Xbox One X-ready.

Admittedly, this functionality is a little clunky, but it probably won’t be used a great deal after this year, as the Xbox One X will download 4K assets automatically.

Next, you’ll want to learn how to move those games from your Xbox One to your Xbox One X. There are multiple ways how to achieve that, listed in the link below.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta codes: How to download PS4 and Xbox One playtest | Gaming | Entertainment

As mentioned above, the big Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta test on PS4 and Xbox One will kick off today.

EA have confirmed that it will start on PS4, Xbox One and PC, at around 9am BST.

Which leads to the big question of getting a code for this event.

As confirmed by EA earlier this year, the October 4 date is only for those who have pre-ordered the game.

The good news is that while you may not get the full run at all the different content, those who don’t pre-order will still get their chance.

That’s because the open beta – which doesn’t require a pre-order – starts two days later on October 6. It also has a 9am UK start time.

The beta ends at 5pm BST on Monday, October 9. This gives fans an entire weekend to try the new Battlefront 2 content.

Some of the Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta will include taking part in daily challenges, which will be running throughout the duration.

One of the big drawbacks to the Star Wars Battlefront beta is the download situation.

Most big beta allow for a pre-load, giving everyone the chance to get ready before things kick off.

EA isn’t doing this with Battlefront 2, meaning that everyone will be left downloading the game at the same time.

This could lead to some serious server strain, so expect some problems during the first couple of hours.

It appears that EA are banking on the closed beta period giving enough players access to the game so that when October 6 comes round, we won’t see a big online issue.

And while this is pretty much like a demo for the full launch in November, it should be noted that the beta is being used to help stress test, as well as catch bugs.

Any fans who pre-order the game (or have already pre-ordered it) will be able to start playing the multiplayer Beta early, although there are a few other bonuses included.

In addition to early access, anyone who pre-orders will get instant access to an upgraded Epic Lightsaber Mastery Star Card for Yoda.

Players who pre-order will also receive exclusive Star Wars: The Last Jedi content including:

  • Exclusive Star Wars: The Last Jedi outfits for Kylo Ren and Rey
  • Instant access to six hero and starfighter epic Star Cards
  • Kylo Ren: Power Reach and Solid Freeze
  • Rey: Far Sight and Deep Mind
  • Starfighters: Enhanced Auxiliary Power and First Order ship upgrade
  • Instant access to Star Wars: The Last Jedi Millennium Falcon with updated sounds and appearance

This content will be available for everyone who pre-orders, no matter which version you plan on playing.

Additionally, pre-orders of the Star Wars Battlefront II: Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition Deluxe Edition come with three-day early access to Star Wars Battlefront II and upgraded versions of all four trooper classes.

Nintendo Download for September 28, 2017 – North America – NintendoFuse

It’s the final Thursday of September, and the quantity of titles available today through next week is through the roof!  I’m very confident we have not seen a release this large in size as the number of titles is upwards of twenty.  Let’s see what is in store for us today!

There are a bunch of new activities, including information on the new banner releasing in Fire Emblem Heroes.  There are now new gold rewards for indie titles on the 3DS and Wii U.  To celebrate the launch of the SNES Classic, there are some discounts and wallpapers added as My Nintendo rewards.

How to Download a Full macOS High Sierra Installer App

Download the complete macOS High Sierra Installer application

Many Mac users who are attempting to download macOS High Sierra from the Mac App Store will find that a small 19 MB version of “Install macOS High” downloads to the /Applications folder of the target Mac, rather than the complete 5.2 GB Installer application for macOS High Sierra. This is annoying because it prevents a single download from being used on multiple computers, plus the small installer requires an internet connection during usage to download the rest of the High Sierra update files. Additionally, the tiny 19 MB incomplete installer prevents users from being able to create a USB installer drive or other custom update options available through the command line, like skipping the APFS update.

This tutorial will show you a workaround trick that allows Mac users to download the full macOS High Sierra “Install macOS High” file at 5.2 GB with the complete installer tool set and all dmg files and associated Install macOS High tools, rather than the tiny incomplete truncated installer at 19 MB.

How to Download the Full “Install macOS High” Application

Warning: this method relies on a third party tool from an unverified third party source, if you are not comfortable with using unvetted and unverified software, and if you do not understand the risks associated with using potentially dubious software, do not follow this process. This is for advanced users only.

  1. Go to here and download the High Sierra patcher application*
  2. Launch “MacOS High Sierra Patcher” and ignore everything about patching, instead pull down the “Tools” menu and choose “Download MacOS High Sierra”
  3. Download the complete macOS High Sierra installer

  4. Confirm that you want to download the complete macOS High Sierra install application, and then point it to a location to save on the local hard drive
  5. Confirm to download full macOS High Sierra installer

  6. The patcher app will notify you when the download is complete, when it is done downloading quit out of the patcher app
  7. Download of full macOS high sierra installer finished

  8. Locate the “Install macOS High” file you downloaded, it will be the complete installer application with the full Contents/Resources/ toolkit available
  9. MacOS high sierra installer complete download

* The “macOS High Sierra Patcher” application is intended for those with unsupported Macs and Hackintosh users, but any Mac user can use the app to be able to download the complete installer file from Apple servers. The source of this patcher application is a MacRumors Forums

You can confirm that you have the complete Install macOS High application by getting info on the file, the complete installer should be around 5.2 GB rather than the tiny 19 MB incomplete installer that requires additional downloads.

The complete macOS High Sierra installer downloaded

Why do some users get a small incomplete version of macOS High Sierra installer from the App Store?

This is not yet known, but it happens with the final version of macOS High Sierra installer as well as with some of the beta versions.

It is unclear why some users will get a 19MB version of “Install macOS High” when downloaded from the App Store, while others users will get the complete 5.2GB version of “Install macOS High” when downloading from the App Store. Interestingly, once a user ends up with the 19 MB version of the incomplete installer, that seems to be the only thing that will download for that user regardless of how many times the incomplete installer app is deleted and re downloaded.

Incomplete macOS High Sierra installer

The installer size and completeness inconsistency appears random, and has no relation to disk space, beta enrollment, software catalog, and other theories seem to be incorrect as well.

Do you know of another method to download the complete macOS High Sierra installer application rathe than the tiny incomplete installer that arrives for some users on the Mac App Store? Let us know in the comments!
