Destiny 2 guide: Cayde-6 Titan chest locations, Oct. 17-23, 2017

Each week, Cayde-6 will sell you some treasure maps for the Flashpoint location. From Oct. 17-23, 2107, Cayde-6’s chests will be located on Titan.

After the weekly reset, run down to the hanger and meet with Cayde-6. Each map will cost you 4,800 glimmer and will appear in your inventory. If you look at the planet in question, you will see several spade icons all over the map.

It is worth noting that you only want to get two or three chests at once. Getting all five in a row can result in no loot in the final two. Grab three, do something else, and come back in about 10 minutes. Time to go exploring, Guardian.

Chest 1

“So I chased the gang of Awoken thieves up to the Arcology. That bridge didn’t look too stable, and I’m not into methane baths, so I stashed what I had and picked up their trail inside” — Cayde-6

Drop onto the Rig and make your way left toward the Solarium. Go down the ramp, through the room to your left and onto the broken bridge. Instead of crossing the bridge over to the Solarium proper, turn and look at the great gate to your right. The Cayde-6 chest will be nestled in next to some crates.

Chest 2

“This one is in some kind of wall. What was it with the Golden Age that they build walls around everything?” — Cayde-6

Spawn onto the Rig and make your way left toward the Solarium. Jump across the broken bridge and up the scaffolding on the left. Run up the stairs and defeat the Hive in the back part of the Solarium. Run all the way to the end of the Hive area, and there will be a Cayde-6 chest just sitting there. Grab it.

Chest 3

“You know what I used to love about my rest stops on Titan? Walking into the Arcology and thinking about it in its heyday. But then you get to thinking of much we actually lost, and now the Hive just spawning everywhere … and the will to fight boils right back up.” — Cayde-6

Spawn onto the Rig and make your way left toward the Solarium. Jump across the broken bridge and up the scaffolding on the left. Run up the stairs and defeat the Hive in the back part of the Solarium. Turn right and go through the broken solar paneling. Walk into the Solarium and turn right once you reach the grass. Walk up the hill and open the Cayde-6 chest.

Chest 4

“And just to amuse myself I would find natural x’s in any environment and stash something somewhere beneath them, just to be able to say those words to myself … ‘X marks the spot.’” — Cayde-6

Make your way to the Solarium just like you did with Chests 2 and 3. Once you pass through the shattered solar panel, walk into the Solarium and take the door on your far right. Follow the winding path until you encounter some Hive in a courtyard. Look across the way to see the familiar glow of a Cayde-6 chest. Defeat the Hive and platform your way onto the balcony to receive some treasure.

Chest 5

“Mapping these pings to the latest from Sloane, looks like you’ll be tearing through some kind of ceiling garden. Good luck with that.” — Cayde-6

Make your way to the Solarium just like you did with Chests 2 and 3. Once you pass through the shattered solar panel, walk into the Solarium and take the door on your left. Walk the path through the green room and toward the Arboretum. In the hallway before the blue room, look up to see a lush garden in the ceiling. Walk forward and jump onto the ledge. Turn to your right and you will see the Cayde-6 chest tucked in between some plants.

Chest 1

“Thought I’d escaped, but you know how the Vex are. I got as far as this energy shield, thinking it was a way out. Dead end. So I dropped what I had there and tried to shoot through. Bam! Right back into the loop.” — Cayde-6

Drop into the Exodus Black area and hop on your Sparrow. Roll north until you reach a small alcove. Climb a few rocks and enter the space. Follow the hallway as it twists and turns. Eventually, you’ll reach a dead end, capped with an energy shield, a weird floating rock and Cayde-6’s chest. Grab your loot.

Chest 2

“I had no choice. Once I saw the floating rocks, there was no way I was going to weigh myself down with extra gear. I was Lightless after all, remember?” — Cayde-6

Make your way to the Hallows however you choose. Once you are in the cave, surrounded by Vex, go east through the opening with the red glow. Follow the path until you reach the Sunken Cavern. Once you emerge from the cave, look across the great open space to spot the chest sitting on a ledge. Platform your way across the rocks until you reach the treasure.

Chest 3

“So there I was, two choices: I could’ve tried climbing the red ivy, or just jump. What do you think I did?” — Cayde-6

Make your way to the Hallows however you choose. Pass through the Vex caves and take the southern path. Roll along the road until you see sunlight. When the path twists left, jump off your Sparrow and onto the lip of the Vex-made cliff face. Your treasure should be right next to you.

Chest 4

“So this cache … I don’t know. It seemed like a good idea at the time. How do you feel about climbing trees?” — Cayde-6.

Drop in at the Watcher’s Grave and follow the road forward. After only a few seconds, you’ll see a massive tree on your right. The chest is sitting on its northernmost branch, which hangs parallel to the ground. Jump up the back wall to climb the tree and reach the treasure.

Chest 5

“I was just doing what Failsafe said. I mean, she seems reliable, half the time. So I entered this cave and set up my little fallback point, took a few steps in, and bam, the battle began.” — Cayde-6

Drop into Artifact’s Edge and head west toward the Tangle. Once you are in the area, push forward until you find the massive crevice that leads into a small pond below. Jump in. At the bottom, look for a small cave opening with orange lights around it. Enter the cave and hang right. You should walk right into Cayde’s final chest.

Chest 1

“Gotta love the views on Io. I remember watching Jupiter gloat over the horizon, all big and stormy. I left a cache up there, and… fell asleep. Next thing I know, my Ghost’s reviving me at the base of the cliff. Guess I roll around in my sleep.” — Cayde-6

Drop into the Lost Oasis and turn right. Follow the road until you find yourself in a gulch, surrounded by rocks. Continue going forward until you reach a giant chasm in front of you. You should now be on top of the Cayde-6 icon. Look over the edge and jump down to a small lip. Claim your chest.

Chest 2

“Do me a favor and just look into that Pyramidion thing, would you? If the Vex are studying the best of humanity, you know they’ve got stuff on me in there.” — Cayde-6

Land by Asher in the Rupture. Make your way over to the Pyramidion and face the dungeon head on. Run along the left side, following the road. At the end, you’ll find a small alcove. Head into the alcove to find the chest.

Chest 3

“The lead I got from Asher was some Psion was seen making off with this somewhere in the Echo Mesa. He mumbled something about it being on top of some Cabal checkpoint, before it — well — fell into a pit of Taken. And we all know how that turns out.” — Cayde-6

Drop back into Lost Oasis. Jump on your Sparrow and head toward Giant’s Scar by way of the big gate. After passing through the gate, continue along the path until you reach two small barricades on the left and right sides of the road. Jump off your Sparrow and hop onto the top of the left barricade. Grab the chest.

Chest 4

“You ever talk to Banshee much? He’s got this saying: Sometime the deeper you go, the less you’ll ever understand. The Cabal are kind of like that. Why they feel the need to drag my stuff into their damn Io base… beyond me.” — Cayde-6.

Land in Giant’s Scar and make your way forward, into Excavation Site II. Once you’re in the base, walk through the hall into the large room. Ignore the Taken enemies and run up the ramp. Once you reach the top, ignore the enemies yet again and take the second ramp. In this third room, look toward the back and find the window. Sitting next to the window will be Cayde-6’s fourth Io chest.

Chest 5

“So word is one of the Cabal’s drill engineers found another one of my caches. I don’t know if I did such a good job sealing it or if those dumb rhino fingers are too fat to pry it open. Anyway, it’s been spotted in some hole near that drill site. I guess Ghaul called them back before they could get into it.” — Cayde-6.

For the final Io chest, land in Lost Oasis and roll north into the Terrabase Charon. Head forward and then jump off of your Sparrow. Jump to the l eft and enter the bunker with the green flag hanging above the door.

Follow the hallways down into the mine. Once you are in the Wraith Mines, look for the giant drill in the center of the room. Run past it and jump up to the scaffolding on the right. Turn around, facing the drill and jump over to more scaffolding in front of you. Jump off of the scaffolding onto the rocks on the right. Here you’ll find the fifth chest.

Here’s how we’re numbering Cayde-6’s chests in this guide
Bungie/Activision

Chest 1

“Getting pings on another one somewhere high up in one of those towers. From what I hear, the Fallen are using those towers as some kind of junkyard. Could be like a needle in a haystack. Good luck.” — Cayde-6

The first chest on Titan is between Siren’s Watch and the Rig. Travel down to the Rig and head right from the landing point. Run through the first cylinder on the bridge and move over to the second (the 01 silo). The Cayde-6 chest will be sitting just to your left after entering 01.

Chest 2

“Reef Awoken are weird like that. She assured me it was a gold mine, so I went exploring. Check near some kind of generator machine thing, there should be one I haven’t hit in years.” — Cayde-6.

From the Rig spawn point, run forward and take a left when you get to the large bridge and open area. Head through the underpass and look down once you get to the other side. From here, you can see the chest glowing next to some pipes. Jump down and shimmy your way along the small walkway to grab the loot.

Chest 3

“I take it you like to jump, right? I see the way you jump around the Tower. Guardians these days — no respect for gravity.” — Cayde-6.

Spawn onto the Rig and start making your way forward. Once you reach the bridge and wide open space, cross the bridge and into the Hive-infested area. Run up the steps and look across the way to see the glowing Cayde-6 chest. Jump across and open it.

Chest 4

“This one is in some kind of wall. What was it with the Golden Age that they build walls around everything?” — Cayde-6

Spawn onto the Rig and make your way left toward the Solarium. Jump across the broken bridge and up the scaffolding on the left. Run up the stairs and defeat the Hive in the back part of the Solarium. Run all the way to the end of the Hive area, and there will be a Cayde-6 chest just sitting there. Grab it.

Chest 5

“You know what I used to love about my rest stops on Titan? Walking into the Arcology and thinking about it in its heyday. But then you get to thinking of much we actually lost, and now the Hive just spawning everywhere… and the will to fight boils right back up.” — Cayde-6

Walk up the hill and open the final Cayde-6 chest.

Region Chests Locations Guide | Earth

Regions Chests are unique gold chests in the environment. After completing the campaign, return to areas you’ve explored — the general location of Region Chests are marked on your map.

EDZ – Outskirts

Region Chest #1: Enter the storefront with the pair of archway entrances, to the right of the plaza and near the path to the Trostland.

Region Chest #2: Enter the dark cave right next (and below) the southwestern bridge on the shore that leads to the Winding Cove.

Region Chest #3: The last chest in this area is found in the large plaza. Look on the left-side when facing the apartments – there’s a large section that’s missing an exterior wall with several wrecked floors. Look at the top (third floor) above a destroyable Fallen antennae.

EDZ – Trostland

Region Chest #4: In the western corner of the Trostland, on the road to the Outskirts, look right for a tall structure with a destroyed second and third floor wall and a pile of rubble with bay windows. Climb up into the third floor to find a region chest.

Region Chest #5: Directly south of the previous chest, go to the cliff facing the dam and travel west into a dark alcove with the last region chest in this area.

EDZ – The Sludge

Region Chest #6: Right next to the landing zone, there’s a narrow cave path behind a weak waterfall. It’s so dark, it doesn’t look like you’ll be able to enter.

Region Chest #7: Enter the large ruined factory from the landing zone. There’s a door that leads into a hallway with metal rafters above – jump up onto the small wooden floors above to spot a gold region chest.

Region Chest #8: On the southwestern wall of the map, there’s a blue / white container blocking a narrow crack in the brick wall. Enter the brick wall to find a region chest.

EDZ – Winding Cove

Region Chest #9: On the main road from the Outskirts, turning the curve on the “U”-shape you’ll encounter a rusted car and an old, closed rusted double door in the cliff wall. Jump onto the green rocks above the door to find a region chest.

Region Chest #10: Easier to find, this region chest in beneath the main road bridge through the center of the zone.

Region Chest #11: At the northern cliff face, look up to spot a crashed Fallen craft hanging from the ledge. Jump up onto the ledge to the right of the ship to find an area with one more region chest.

EDZ – The Gulch

Region Chest #12: North of the giant guarded tunnel that leads to The Tunnels, there’s a smaller Cabal outpost outside a cave with a scannable inside. Climb onto the hills above this cave to find another cave higher up with a gold chest inside.

Region Chest #13: Go to the southern bridge and look in the valley further south. There’s a cliff cave on the right behind some fallen trees, marked with a dirt path.

Region Chest #14: In the gully south of the main road bridge, just east from the previous gold chest, there’s a cave marked with a glowing blue lamp with another gold chest inside. This little area is usually protected by Cabal.

EDZ – Firebase Hades

Region Chest #15: Climb onto the high hills south of the landing zone, overlooking the southern “leg” of the giant cannon. This is on the eastern edge of the map.

Region Chest #16: Enter the control room of the southern “leg” of the giant cannon. Use the side entrances to reach a room with a hologram in the center. Jump onto the second floor walkway to find the gold chest.

Region Chest #17: On the western wall of the map, look south of the ramp entrance to the cargo bay interior. There’s a gray metal platform hanging from the wall – jump up to it to find a gold chest.

EDZ – Sunken Isles

Region Chest #18: Found along the northern shoreline, there’s a small island near the Public Event marker guarded by a Vandal. This is one of the easier Region Chests, so you might grab it accidentally while exploring the region your first time.

Region Chest #19: Go to the underground tunnel underneath the massive landing platform in the center of the map. The tunnel is on the western edge – go underground and onto the interior platform. To the left, the gold chest is behind some crates.

Region Chest #20: To the left of the massive carrier platform ramp. Look in the corner, in the rocks.

‘The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild’ Guide: Season Pass Switch Shirt, DLC Chest Locations : CULTURE : Tech Times

If The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild just doesn’t have enough items and places to explore for you, then you’ve probably bought the Season Pass, and if you did, then you’re probably wondering where the heck the Nintendo Switch shirt and DLC chests’s locations are.

You’re not alone on that one, as Nintendo didn’t say where they are in the Great Plateau exactly.

Where’s The Season Pass Switch Shirt In ‘Breath Of The Wild’?

To start things off, arguably the best out of the three chests is the Switch shirt, an exclusive in-game clothing. It’s basically a red shirt with the Switch logo on it.

On an interesting note, Nintendo says the only way to acquire the shirt is via the Season Pass.

Moving on, first thing you have to do to get it is to fast travel to the Ja Baij Shrine within the Eastern Abbey, which is somewhere, well, east of the Great Plateau.

Once you’re there, you should see a purple chest on top of the wall, and it should have “EX” written on it.

That’s all there is to it, but be wary of a Guardian nearby. An unexpected laser may use up all your hearts.

Where’s The Other Season Pass DLC Chests In ‘Breath Of The Wild’?

Aside from the DLC chest with the Switch shirt, there are two more in the Great Plateau.

First, there’s the chest containing the five Bomb Arrows, and to find it, fast travel to Keh Namut Shrine.

When you arrive, start heading southwest, and you’ll soon spot another purple chest sitting on top of a platform. Open it, and you’ll get five Bomb Arrows.

Second, there’s the chest that holds a Ruby, which fetches 210 rupees, for those wondering.

This time, fast travel to the Oman Au Shrine, and you should see the DLC chest sitting beside the entrance.

Other ‘Breath Of The Wild’ Season Pass Content

If that sounds like a bummer for Season Pass content, then worry not. Two DLC packs are in store for those who bought it, with one launching in summer and the other in winter.

The first DLC pack will bring a new Cave of Trials challenge, a new hard mode, and an “additional map feature” to the table. Meanwhile, the second DLC pack is going to add a new original story to the mix along with a new dungeon and more challenges.

“With this additional content, we’d like to give even seasoned Hyrule explorers something new and fun. The world of Hyrule awaits, and we hope the main game and additional content provide you with a place to play, explore, and enjoy for a long time,” Eiji Aonuma, Legend of Zelda series producer, said.

Before wrapping things up, be sure to check out our other Breath of the Wild guides on how to increase your inventory, how to get the Master Sword, how to farm rupees, and how to get Epona, the Hylian Shield, and Wolf Link.

Breath of the Wild rolled out to the Switch and Wii U on March 3 with a $59.99 price tag, and the Season Pass will set customers back by $19.99.
