Pokemon Go update TRANSFORMS app, but Niantic believes THIS is the real future of AR | Gaming | Entertainment

Pokemon Go is about to be transformed thanks to new technology available in the iPhone X, 8 and 8 Plus.

The cameras on the iPhone 8 Plus are said to have been custom tuned for AR.

“Each camera is individually calibrated, with new gyroscopes and accelerometers for accurate motion tracking,” reads an Apple iPhone 8 statement.

“The A11 Bionic CPU handles world tracking, scene recognition and the GPU enables incredible graphics at 60fps, while the image signal processor does real-time lighting estimation.

“With ARKit, iOS developers can take advantage of the TrueDepth camera and the rear cameras to create games and apps offering fantastically immersive and fluid experiences that go far beyond the screen.”

But despite the improvements to AR, Niantic boss and Pokemon Go creator John Hanke still thinks the technology is limited.

In fact, Hanke thinks that AR glasses are the future of augmented reality.

Check out the gallery below for a look at Gen 1, Gen 2 and Gen 3 Pokemon that could be included in the Pokemon Go Halloween 2017 event.

“AR on phones is a very important step on the path to full AR,” Hanke told Medium.

“But it’s a step that should be understood as one with limitations in its current form factor and level of development.”

After explaining that AR is more than just a digital overlay on your phone, Hanke added: “The point is that the AR camera view is a cool step forward, but it’s only part of what is going to make AR so important and powerful.

“Holding a phone in front of you to align an AR view is, honestly, a little awkward. Based on experiences with apps that are mostly focused on this visual aspect of AR, some will conclude that AR is a gimmick that lacks real utility.

“That’s a bummer, because it really is the first step to something that is going to transform the world as we know it.”

Hanke thinks that while devices like Google Glass were massively flawed, AR glasses are the way forward.

“Glasses are coming,” he continued. “They are hard and it will take a while but we will get them and once we do, we won’t go back.”

Hanke said that once the social implications of such a device are ironed out, AR glasses will transform the way we interact with the world.

“Imagine buildings, offices, homes, cities and transportation with live, dynamic interfaces customized to you and what you want to do.

“The billions of dollars a year that we spend on physical signs, directories, schedules, and all of the other ‘UI’ that we need to navigate the physical world won’t be needed and will be replaced with digital overlays with far greater functionality.

“And yes, colorful animated creatures can inhabit our backyards and parks, waiting to be discovered.

“Games beyond anything we can imagine today will be played out. Not by humans wired into Matrix-style pods, but by human beings walking, running, exploring, talking and connecting in the real world.”

NVIDIA CEO Believes Cryptocurrencies Have Longevity

Since the beginning of the year, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum have skyrocketed in value, adding billions in market cap and increasing in value by huge factors. The precipitous growth of the industry has been so pronounced, in fact, that analysts both within and outside of the industry have speculated that cryptocurrencies are a bubble that will eventually pop and that the market will crash. On the other hand, though, there are proponents of the crypto space who believe (or hope, at least) that cryptocurrencies are here to stay. The CEO of Nvidia (NVDA), the graphics card manufacturer, falls into the latter category.

Nvidia Sees Spike in Earnings Thanks to Crypto Mining

It is perhaps unsurprising that Jen-Hsun Huang, CEO of Nvidia, is optimistic about the future of the cryptocurrency world; Nvidia has benefited greatly from the recent spike in cryptocurrency mining around the globe. As mining operations have taken off, and particularly because individuals can set up their own computer systems to mine for most cryptocurrencies, demand for high-power graphics cards has taken off. In many markets, top graphics cards have sold out entirely, with prices skyrocketing as a result. Nvidia has reaped the benefits: its second-quarter earnings jumped up 56% year over year, and its GPU division took in a whopping $1.9 billion during the second quarter alone. That is a rise of 59% in comparison with the same time period a year previously.

Huang explained to VentureBeat that “cryptocurrency and blockchain are here to stay. Over time, it will become quite large. It is very clear that new currencies will come to market. It’s clear the GPU is fantastic at cryptography. The GPU is really quite well positioned.”

Impartial Assessment or Wishful Thinking?

Huang is not the only GPU maker to weigh in on the future of cryptocurrencies, and the diagnosis is far from unanimous. Rival Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) is less bullish on the prospect of cryptocurrencies going forward. In fact, AMD CEO Lisa Su suggested that her company does not predict a long-term future for sales of their products to the mining market. Still, though, they would plan to “continue to watch the developments” in the space, according to CoinDesk.

In the past several months, demand for graphics cards has grown significantly. Miners require top processing capacity in order to add new transaction blocks to any of the top blockchains. Their reward for solving those complicated math problems is newly minted coins or tokens. GPUs are specifically used to mine cryptocurrencies including Ethereum or Litecoin, as these are based on a hashing algorithm called “scrypt.” Bitcoin operates with another set of procedures and is generated using dedicated hardware known as ASICs.

Introduction of Xbox One X & PS4 Pro Enables Lower Pricing of Base XO and PS4, Turtle Beach Believes

The introduction of the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro allow both Microsoft and Sony to drop the price of the standard Xbox One and PS4 models, according to headset manufacturer Turtle Beach.

Turtle Beach Corporation manufactures high-end gaming headsets for both the PS4 and Xbox One, and believes that Sony’s recent and Microsoft’s upcoming new hardware launches, could boost headset sales. That’s what Turtle Beach’s CEO, Juergen Stark, told investors during the company’s most recent earnings call.

Stark believes that the introduction of the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro can be considered important as it will be the first time that two new console’s will be introduced with complete backward and forward compatibility.

“at holiday, PlayStation 4 Pro will have been in the market for about a year and the upcoming Xbox One X, I just mentioned, is announced to launch for the holiday selling season”, he said. “It’s important to note that both console upgrades have backwards compatibility. In fact, not only are they compatible with existing titles but because of the console’s update introduced by both Microsoft and Sony, older gen games made for the earlier versions of Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will actually play better.”

A lower price for the standard PS4 and Xbox One?

Stark continued by stating that the introduction of the Xbox One X and PS4 could allow for a price drop on the standard Xbox One and PS4. “We think this is very important because this marks the first time that the console videogame business has seen introduction of two new console systems with complete backward and forward compatibility. And it’s the first time that both Sony and Microsoft will have a two-tier product offering which may allow them to offer more competitive pricing on their lower tier models and attract new gamers into the console market.”

Later in the conference call, Stark said that headsets sales could benefit from the hardware refreshments in more than one way. “While not accounted for in our outlook explicitly, we think new hardware launches could also boost sales, particularly because they enable lower pricing of the economy models of Xbox One and PlayStation 4”, the CEO said. “All-in-all, assuming good sales of marquee game titles, we see a very strong holiday season for our headset business.”

Sony released its enhanced PS4 console, the PlayStation 4 Pro, last year. Microsoft will release its mid-cycle console refreshment, the Xbox One X, later this year on November 7.

Do you believe that Sony’s and Microsoft hardware refreshments allow for a lower pricing on the base Xbox One and PS4 models? Hit the comments below.

Analyst Believes PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Will Give Xbox One X the Edge Over Sony

by Matthew Hayes

xbox battlegrounds

Can PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds push the Xbox One X to super-sales status this holiday? Whenever a big multiplatform shooter comes out, it always seems like it’s Sony getting the better end of the bargain with exclusive content. Map packs for Call of Duty showing up a month early on PS4 or exclusive strikes and gear coming to games like Destiny 2 make PS4 seem like the place to be, especially for people who don’t own a console yet. Xbox gamers take it in their stride, though, and industry analyst Michael Pachter doesn’t seem to think that exclusive content makes that big of a difference.

In an interview with GamingBolt, Pachter called it a marketing gimmick. “I think it’s kind of like, let’s say the first DLC pack for Call of Duty comes out 30 days early for PS4, well, if you don’t have a PS4, if you have an Xbox, and your friends have Xbox, it doesn’t matter. Because you’re not playing with PS4 people. So you’re all getting it the same day, even if it is 30 days later.

“So I don’t actually think it makes a difference at all, except for people who don’t have a console yet. And yes, there are a lot of people who don’t have a console yet, and they will be influenced by their friends, and so that 2:1 PS4 advantage means that twice as many people will tell their friends to get PS4 as Xbox One. So, I mean, it helps, but I think that ratio is key here.”

The much bigger X-factor, according to Michael Pachter (and our common sense) is an exclusive game. Pachter is predicting that, come his holiday season, the fact that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is coming exclusively to Xbox One is going to make a big difference when it comes down to who buys a PS4 and who buys an Xbox One X.

“I don’t know what it will cost, I think it will be $30 or $40, but I think that will outsell most of those Japanese games on PS4, and that’s Xbox exclusive for a while- probably through the Holiday, and then it gets announced for PS4 next year, but that game will help sell systems. That game is incredible, and I can’t wait for it to hit consoles.”

He’s not wrong, you know. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has seen tremendous success on PC with almost zero marketing. Popular streaming channels and word of mouth have propelled the game to over 5 million sales since it released, and it’s a game that should do very well in the console space. Will it be enough to push the Xbox One X into an early lead after it launches this holiday?

Analyst Believes PlayStation 4 System Prices Will Drop By The Holidays

by Robert Workman

Michael Pachter has provided a number of analysis pieces before within the game industry, including predicting that the PlayStation 5 could drop in just a couple years’ time. But his latest analysis is a bit more feasible, as it pertains to a possible price drop for both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro.

Pachter noted that the systems could see a $50 price drop in time for the holidays, and it will likely be permanent, unlike the previous $250 sale the company had on its PS4 Slim models. “I don’t think Microsoft is all that competitive,” he noted. “Xbox One S is priced the same as the PS4, and I don’t think they are competitive at all with the Xbox One X, currently priced at ($499, $100 more) than the PS4 Pro, and highly likely to be priced $150 more than the PS4 Pro by holiday.

“My guess is, Sony will cut the every day PS4 price to $249, and the PS4 Pro price to $349 this holiday, and Microsoft will be too expensive, so Sony will keep its price advantage this holiday.”

This isn’t the first time Pachter predicted a price drop for the system, as he previously noted that Sony intended to drop the price of the PS4 Slim to $199. It appears that he’s corrected that now, and sticking more with the $249/$349 figures instead.

This price drop would actually make sense, since Sony is currently trying to find a way to shuffle more PlayStation 4 Pro systems out the door, since developers and first-party game makers are both hard at work on making it the best hardware for their games. On top of that, when the PS4 Slim dropped temporarily to $249 earlier this year, it sold incredibly well for the company, especially the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End bundles.

Sony hasn’t said a word, so this is just a report at best. But hopefully, Sony will find a way to get a price drop incorporated, and try to dominate the holiday season once again, selling even more than the 60 million PS4 units it’s already got in homes worldwide.

Hacker group Anonymous believes NASA is close to discovering alien life

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) shot down claims from hacker cabal Anonymous last week that the space agency is on the brink of revealing an earth-shattering discovery.

A video was posted to “Anonymous Global”, a YouTube channel believed to be associated with the renowned hacker collective, the group had claimed NASA was plotting a momentous announcement.

Not so, NASA told Postmedia this week. It will, however, continue looking.

“While we’re excited about the latest findings from NASA’s Kepler space observatory, there’s no pending announcement regarding extraterrestrial life,” a spokesperson told Postmedia in an email.

“For years NASA has expressed interest in searching for signs of life beyond Earth. We have a number of science missions that are moving forward with the goal of seeking signs of past and present life on Mars and ocean worlds in the outer solar system.

“While we do not yet have answers, we will continue to work to address the fundamental question, ‘are we alone?'”

Eyebrows were raised last week when Anonymous released a 12-minute clip referencing three articles from conspiracy website Ancient-Code.com.

Anonymous quotes Dr. Thomas Zurbuchen, NASA’s associate administrator for the Science Mission Directorate in Washington.

“Our civilization is on the verge of discovering alien life in the cosmos. Taking in account all of the different activities and missions that are specifically searching for evidence of alien life, we are on the verge of making one of the most profound, unprecedented discoveries in history,” Dr. Zurbuchen said in April during a congressional hearing speech called Advances in the Search for Life.

Zurbuchen’s speech referenced humanity’s enhanced ability to search for new life forms, yet Anonymous interpreted it as evidence that “something is going on in the skies above”.

Recent celestial discoveries have increased the likelihood of making an initial discovery of alien species. Scientists announced in April that hydrogen was discovered on Enceladus, one of Saturn’s moons, which would bolster the likelihood of microbial life being present.

Additionally, NASA scientists revealed there may be 4,034 potential planets in our galaxy, with over 2,300 confirmed thus far. At least 30 of those planets are within the “Goldilocks Zone” of their star, which is believed to be instrumental towards producing life.

Earlier this year NASA also discovered TRAPPIST-1, a solar system 39 light years away that has seven planets resembling Earth that orbit its star. That finding bolsters the chance of planets with conditions that promote life.

“Its (TRAPPIST-1) discovery tells us that there is plenty of planet-making material in our little corner of the solar system, indicating that finding Earth-like planets may actually be closer to us than we originally thought,” Dr. Zurbuchen added.

Despite the new discoveries and Anonymous’ claims, Dr. Zurbuchen said in his speech that NASA has yet to find definitive signs of life away from Earth.

“While we haven’t found definitive signs of life elsewhere just yet, our search is making remarkable progress and astrobiology is a focus of a growing number of NASA missions,” he added.

Moon Express chairman believes his team’s “ready to go for the end of this year”

Chatting up MoonExpress co-founder and chairman Naveen Jain

Nathan Mattise / Jennifer Hahn

NEW ORLEANS—The day before we talked with Moon Express co-founder and chairman Naveen Jain, he sat on the Collision Conference mainstage next to a HoloLens-clad Robert Scoble. The successful investor Jain and the enthusiastic tech-evangelist Scoble chatted about “Startups as a Superpower,” exploring what it means if a private business—and not another nation-state—becomes the fourth entity to reach the Moon. And while the challenge definitely carries an inherent amount of glory, Jain believes a startup will have the next Armstrong moment for one familiar reason.

“[Successful entrepreneurs] have to look at what problems we want to solve—tech is a means to an end, and profit is a motivator,” he said. “If I want to create a $10 billion business, I need to solve a problem that affects at least one billion people.”

Maybe it doesn’t seem like it to everyone just yet, but Jain definitely sees the Moon as a perfect entrepreneurial opportunity (which he defined as something he’s passionate about, that can impact lots of people, and that’s ripe for monetizing). Despite more companies entering the space-space than ever before, he brushes off any suggestions of a bubble when talking with Ars. Instead, the longtime businessman—who succeeded previously with Internet companies in both the dotcom bubble and post-dotcom eras—quickly draws a familiar parallel for the blossoming space industry.

“There are actually a lot of parallels between the Internet and space,” Jain tells Ars. “When the Internet started, there were three types of companies—companies that laid the fiber, companies that built the last mile solutions, then companies that built the applications on top of that. With space, companies that build rockets are the fiber, companies that build landers are the last mile, and companies building the applications will ultimately drive the most value.

“So the question really is, ‘what kinds of applications will capture people’s imagination?’” he continues. “If Steve Jobs had asked everyone, ‘what kind of application do you want on this phone?’, no one would have said, ‘I want an application where I throw the birds at the pigs.’ But that’s exactly what they wanted.”

HoloLens-wearing Robert Scoble joined up with Moon Express’ Naveen Jain. “>For a panel on whether we should want a startup to become the world’s next superpower, a <a href=HoloLens-wearing Robert Scoble joined up with Moon Express’ Naveen Jain. ” src=”https://cdn.arstechnica.net/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/CollisionNOLA-10-640×427.jpg” width=”640″ height=”427″ />

Nathan Mattise

As it stands today, Jain’s space company appears to be the private-industry leader in the race to reach the Moon. Moon Express famously stands as one of 16 participants in the Google Lunar XPRIZE competition. To win, a team must land a privately funded rover on the Moon, have that vehicle travel 500 meters, and then transmit high-definition video and images back to Earth. Teams from across the globe had until the end of 2016 to obtain verified launch contracts and must complete their missions by the end of 2017. The first team to accomplish all that wins $20 million (second place earns $5 million).

Jain notes Moon Express—not Virgin Galactic, SpaceX, or Blue Origin—remains the only company to secure all the necessary permissions from the US government to launch beyond low-Earth orbit toward the Moon. And in January, his co-founder (and current CEO) Bob Richards announced the company fully hit its funding goals as well. However, the team has yet to solidify the third component for its success. Moon Express secured an initial flight contract with Rocket Lab, another US space company with a subsidiary in New Zealand. Rocket Lab’s Electron rocket, however, has yet to even run a test launch.

Fear not, Jain says. If that vehicle doesn’t look to be panning out in time, he indicates Moon Express will look for workable alternatives without hesitation.

“We are completely ready to go for the end of this year,” Jain says. “And I believe Rocket Lab will be, too. I believe, by the end of the year, they will have done four or five tests by the time we go. But just to be clear, we are not married to any rocket. That means we could be using a Launcher One from Virgin Galactic, if it is ready. We could be using SpaceX. We could be using some other rocket.”

What happens if Jain and Moon Express successfully kickstart a future Moon rush with an XPRIZE-winning launch this year? Jain, for one, has no clue—just plenty of ideas. Maybe retrieving Helium-3, “a completely non-radioactive, clean energy source that could create an abundance of energy on Earth,” will prove to be the killer Moon application.

Or, it could be something simpler, like Moon rocks (“The Moon has been a symbol of love for hundreds of generations,” Jain pitches. “‘Everyone gives someone a diamond, if you love someone enough, you give them the Moon.”) or Moon kids (“Would your child on Earth want to create pin art and put a footprint on the Moon for $99—is that the Pokemon Go of the Moon?”). We can never know for sure, Jain notes, until we get to such a point. So today, the biggest reason he wants to push Moon Express across the finish line remains the most basic one.

“[Landing on the Moon] would be symbolic of what entrepreneurs are capable of doing,” Jain says. “My hope in landing on the Moon is that it’s a four-minute mile event—once someone ran a mile under four minutes, there were a dozen other people who ran the mile next year. Will you go build the Pokemon Go of the Moon because we showed you it’s possible?”

OnePlus 5 Update: New Teaser Speculates Phone’s Launch; Believes to Come with IP68 Rating : News : Droid Report

Leaked photos of a phone with a wallpaper containing the phone’s signature line gave more teaser to what is said by the experts as the “flagship killer of 2017”. The OnePlus 5 launch rumors have been adding more hype upon its launch this year.

The teaser shows a phone with the caption “Never Settle”, the signature line of OnePlus 5 and its previous smartphones. While there is not clear information with the teaser, it sets various rumors and speculations about the phone.

Gizbot has reported that the teaser shows the Chinese manufacturer of OnePlus is launching a black variant of the OnePlus 3T, which could happe on March 15 with Colette Paris as its partner.

The teaser could also indicate that the launch of the OnePlus 5 is near. Rumor mills have been showing that the teaser she light on the phone since there are few more months for the launch of the OnePlus 5.

The OnePlus 5 smartphone is believed by the people to hit the shelves with a 5.5-inch dual-curved edge AMOLED display with FHD 1080p resolution. With this display, the phone could be in comparison with the upcoming flagships from the bigger tech companies in the smartphone market.

The rumored storage capacities of the OnePlus 5 is 64GB and 128GB. This is not really surprising as the phone’s previous edition arrived in the market as one of the first smartphones with 6GB RAM.

Earlier reports suggested that the OnePlus 5 could feature a ceramic build like the Mi Mix. Now, reports like the article in Nashville Chatter are suggesting the phone might have an all-glass design that could give a premium look.

It is observable that most flagships are water and dust resistant. The OnePlus 5 is speculated to have an IP68 rating that will make it resistant to water and dust.

In addition, OnePlus 5 is als rumored to have a USB Type-C port in the concept video below. This feature was absent in its 3T phone.

Also, it is said that the OnePlus 5 will come with a 12MP front camera with wide-angle lens and a 23MP main snapper located at its rear. To know more, watch the concept video below.

Analyst believes Microsoft’s Project Scorpio will rule in 2018 and 2019

Strategy Analytics’ director of digital media strategies, Michael Goodman, recently spoke with WeWriteThings about his predictions for Microsoft’s upcoming video game console, currently codenamed Project Scorpio, and admitted that the hardware likely won’t come into its own until its second or third year. “My expectation is that the launch titles on Scorpio aren’t going to be that much more amazing than what you’ll find [elsewhere]. It is going to be a year or two down the road where you should start to see the [true] capability of the platform,” he was quoted as saying. “Kudos to the developers who have been able to get the most out of the Xbox One system. They’ve made that gap fairly seamless. It’ll be interesting to see what they can actually do when they have access to all of this additional power.”

Goodman also commented on Sony’s current lead in the video game market and felt confident that Microsoft will be able to hold its own and could even give its rival a run for its money. “Sony is still leading but Microsoft has made some in-roads in key markets over the past six months. I think they’re going to turn that on its head even more so in 2017 with Scorpio coming out,” he said before adding that, “From a purely technical standpoint, this is the first time Microsoft will have ever had the most powerful console on the marketplace. It’s going to be really interesting to see what they’ve been able to do.”

The “in-roads” Goodman mentions are likely a reference to the success of the new Xbox One S console which sold fairly well in 2016 and the significant effort Microsoft has been making recently to further integrate the Xbox Live gaming network into the Windows 10 operating system, essentially making all PC owners Xbox gamers even if they don’t own an actual Xbox console.

A release date and finalized name for Project Scorpio has yet to be announced however all is expected to be revealed at this year’s Microsoft E3 briefing on June 11th. Do you have any predictions for Project Scorpio and Xbox? Let us know in the comments below.

Christian Twitter Users Tell the Pope Why God Believes In Extreme Vetting

Pope Francis speaks in Malmo, Sweden in October 2016 (Photo by Michael Campanella/Getty Images)

The Pope has been critical of President Trump’s treatment of immigrants. But some American Catholics think the Pope needs to slow his roll. Yes, some Catholics are trying to explain to the Pope why God believes in the so-called “extreme vetting” of immigrants to the United States.

Twitter is a great equalizer of sorts when it comes to public opinion. Movie stars, elected officials, and even the Pope are more accessible than ever. We get to hear their thoughts, often in an unfiltered way. And it’s a two-way street. If you think the Pope is wrong about something, all you need to do is tell him.

Which is precisely what happened today when many people took to Twitter and told Pope Francis that even God believes in extreme vetting. Seriously.

“How often in the Bible the Lord asks us to welcome migrants and foreigners, reminding us that we too are foreigners!” the Pope tweeted from the official Pontifex Twitter account.

But Mike Oberhill, like many other Christian Twitter users, was quick to correct the Pope.

“@Pontifex even God believed extreme vetting was a good thing. Moses didn’t get into the promised land,” Oberhill, presumably an American Catholic based on his tweets, responded.

Others had similar sentiments to the Pope’s plea for Americans to welcome immigrants.

“@Pontifex love you, but we in America are not against immigration..goal is to have ability to vet immigrants to identify those who wish harm,” Twitter user Paul Anthony Roberts tweeted at Pope Francis.

Screenshot of a Twitter user explaining to Pope Francis why he’s wrong that the bible asks humans to welcome migrants and foreigners (Twitter)

“@Pontifex Go ahead and see Christianity destroyed like it has been in the Islamic lands,” another Twitter user shot back at the Pope.

American Catholics tend to be a bit more conservative than Catholics in other parts of the world. As just one example, they break with Catholic teaching in some pretty fundamental ways like capital punishment. Roughly 6 in 10 American Catholics believe in the death penalty, something that the Catholic church is explicitly against.

But President Trump and his band of followers have never had much respect for the Pope. And it’s actually incredible that any American Catholics would bother to support Donald Trump if they truly believed that Pope Francis was their spiritual leader.

Here’s what Trump said about the Pope back in February of last year, after the Pope had criticized the idea of a wall between the US and Mexico:

If and when the Vatican is attacked by ISIS, which as everyone knows is ISIS’s ultimate trophy, I can promise you that the Pope would have only wished and prayed that Donald Trump would have been President because this would not have happened. ISIS would have been eradicated unlike what is happening now with our all talk, no action politicians.

The Mexican government and its leadership has made many disparaging remarks about me to the Pope, because they want to continue to rip off the United States, both on trade and at the border, and they understand I am totally wise to them. The Pope only heard one side of the story – he didn’t see the crime, the drug trafficking and the negative economic impact the current policies have on the United States. He doesn’t see how Mexican leadership is outsmarting President Obama and our leadership in every aspect of negotiation.

For a religious leader to question a person’s faith is disgraceful. I am proud to be a Christian and as President I will not allow Christianity to be consistently attacked and weakened, unlike what is happening now, with our current President. No leader, especially a religious leader, should have the right to question another man’s religion or faith. They are using the Pope as a pawn and they should be ashamed of themselves for doing so, especially when so many lives are involved and when illegal immigration is so rampant.

So, yeah. Trump and the Pope haven’t exactly been on great terms, even before this most recent dust-up. President Trump has yet to respond to the Pope on Twitter, but I’m sure it’s only a matter of time.

In the meantime, plenty of American Catholics will continue to lecture the pope about what the bible says about immigrants. Because Twitter is the best. Thank God for Twitter.
