That’s right, I am in the process of starting a new company, a net tech startup here in Southeast Asia. We will be headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand and the Thai market will be our primary focus at launch.
Over the course of the series I hope to touch on a lot of different aspects about being an entrepreneur and what it’s like to get a tech startup off the ground. Things like developing a business plan and business model, figuring out a market strategy, building a team, getting investment in your company and how to manage growth.
Another aspect that I think will be interesting for a lot of people will be what it’s like to get a tech startup off the ground outside of Silicon Valley. Bangkok probably isn’t the first place that most people think about when you consider being an entrepreneur, but starting a business in Southeast Asia, Thailand specifically offers a lot of opportunity and it’s worth taking advantage of.
In this series I would love to answer any questions you guys might have about startups and entrepreneurship so please feel free to post it in the comments below.
