Pokémon Sun and Moon are role-playing video games with adventure elements, presented in a third-person, overhead perspective. The player controls a young trainer who goes on a quest to catch and train creatures known as Pokémon, and win battles against other trainers. By defeating enemy Pokémon in turn-based battles, the player’s Pokémon gains experience, allowing them to level up and increase their battle statistics, learn new battle techniques, and in some cases, evolve into more powerful Pokémon. Alternatively, players can capture wild Pokémon, found during random encounters, by weakening them in battle and catching them with Poké Balls, allowing them to be added to their party. Players are also able to battle and trade Pokémon with other human players using the Nintendo 3DS’s connectivity features. Like in previous games in the series, certain Pokémon are only obtainable in either Sun or Moon, with players encouraged to trade with others in order to obtain all Pokémon from both versions.

  1. You can fix the frame rate issue by using a new 3ds. The regular 3ds tends to drop frames a lot in the newer games and this was pretty much optimized for the new 3ds instead of the old one.

  2. i just want to add something to the video that u didn't thought about like back in the old pokemon games which u pick ur starter ur rival picks the stronger type starter and in this one u r like a rival to hau

  3. Awesome review Nick! This is the first Pokemon game in several years that I've been excited for and I've been enjoying it! Would it be ok if I use some of your gameplay footage for a "History of Pokemon" segment I'm working on for a game review show?

  4. Meanwhile, I still haven't completed the first island trial because I don't have the time, yet. I miss some of the mechanics they brought in Black and White, but still, I'm loving it so far!

  5. If next generations Pokemon add some visual novel elements into some of the story or gameplay, I'd make sense to jump for voice-actors.

  6. Bro why dont you just say Pokemon Sun n Moon is similar to Pokemon Colliseum for the Gamecube. Overall its a really good game 9/10

  7. I don't experience the frame rate issues. I have the "New" 3ds though. I'm not sure if that matters or not, but I haven't experienced any frame drops except for maybe once or twice.

  8. No walking pokemon? Skipped.

p.s. The main island of hawai'i is basically dotted with ranches, its one of Hawai'i's major industry. Just not many on Oahu.

  9. I'm sorry I understand this is your opinion and I get that but adding voice acting to a Pokemon game is just ridiculous, yeah I understand that adding it might be cool and all but that just wrecks the concept of Pokemon, every Pokemon game has been text reading based but that would make it like every other game, and Pokemon would lose its uniqueness compared to other games. Sorry if that offended anyone. But that's my opinion

  10. I prefer island trial compare to gym battle..Sun and Moon made all this trial captain more memorable compare to the previous version
