Alright now that I got my dirty hands on the Nest Thermostat it’s time to install it and connect it with my Nest Protect. The installation is pretty easy and Nest does a great job of providing online hook ups and such.

  2. I thought in Canada everyone chopped wood and used a wood stove. Whats with this technology crap ? LOL  looks way cool tho. Do you have gas heat ?  …. dang should have finished watching before posting. Your spring is as cold as our winter

  4. That's a nice setup, I live in an old Victorian house with radiator style heating. It has some pluses but hate feeding the thirsty boiler in the basement.

  5. Why didn't you install your orange wire connected to the B-terminal on your old thermostat? Is that a C-wire? If so – the Nest would prefer that connected.
