There has been no change in condition for a 75-year-old Cottontown woman involved in deadly Black Friday crash in Cross Plains.
Bettye L. Pedigo remains listed in critical but stable condition Monday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, more than a week after she and her husband were involved in the crash that claimed the lives of a Hendersonville man and his 9-year-old nephew, according to a hospital spokesman.
Pedigo was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries via ambulance following the crash at the intersection of Highway 25 and Eastside Drive, according to Robertson County Emergency Medical Services Assistant Director Russell Gupton.

Her husband, Elbert Pedigo, 69, was not injured, but he was involved in the incident as the driver of a separate vehicle, according to a supplemental report on the incident released by the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) last week.
The husband and wife were the only survivors of the crash.
