Nest Thermostat 3D Graphics and Fractal Demo


Graphics demo showing a 3D effect created using my custom renderer. No libraries are used to create this effect beyond direct pixel access to the Nest Thermostat’s framebuffer. All frames are in real time running on a 300 MHz ARM 3703 Sitara processor. NOTE: all rendering is done by SOFTWARE as there is no 2D/3D hardware support.

Hardware floating point is utilized to speed up the fractal drawing. A custom toolchain was created to take advantage of the built in NEON processor.
