Xbox 360 Towel Trick vs. CheapyD (Shown on CNBC!)

We all know about the 3 year warranty, but perhaps you have a fear of cardboard boxes. Maybe you live in Japan and have a broken USA Xbox 360. This technique can keep your 360 going until the new HDMI 65nm models have saturated retail.

  1. Wow I was about to throw out my xbox that has been lying n my garage for about a year good thing I didn't throw it out

  2. This video is so bizarre.

Your console is fucked so wrap it in towels to make it work until you can buy another console from the company that sold you the original.

    Fucking hell people are dumb.

  3. YOUR A FUCKING MORON DON'T DO THIS JUST HAVE IT REFLOED. LOOK ON CRAIGSLIST AND YOU CAN GET IT FIXED AND WORKING LONGER THEN THIS SHIT. ALSO DOING THIS WARPS THE MOTHER BOARD.

  8. So THAT'S who this freaky bald guy was all along! Can't believe it, because I did actually see this video in 2007-2008 having no idea who he is!!

  9. All that I did was disassemble the unit, removed the OLD Thermal Paste, cleaned the GPU and the CPU, applied FRESH Artic Silver No 5. Thermal Paste on the heat sinks, used the ORIGIANL X-clamps again. Turned the fans off and let it overheat while FULLY assembled for 6 minutes, then let it cool naturally. After that, it came back on and has been running FLAWLESSLY ever since.I don't understand why these GHETTO short cuts were being USED back then…such NONSENSE.
