  1. Only Sony would take the time too take apart there own console. Thank you Sony for showing us what was under the hood.

  2. It seems to me like the hot air is vented from the heatsink, THROUGH the power supply unit…. please tell me that isn't true.

  3. HEY GUYS PLEASE ANSWER: to all those who already has the PRo and started playing and messing around with it: Are you happy with the upgrade? Is it substantial enough to justify an upgrade for current PS4 Standard owners? Are there any serious issues like: NOISE, HEATING, POWER ISSUES, LAG, HARDWARE/SOFTWARE ISSUES, HDMI ISSUES ETC? How is the framerate on 1080p mode? 30/60fps? Is the framerate Stable?
    Appreciate the info!

  4. Am I the only one troubled by the notion of this guy WEARING A FUZZY WOOL SWEATSHIRT – while handling electronics? Static damage anyone? :P

  5. Alright, Now I wanna see you put it back together AGAIN !! Plizz !!
Amaze me again, Japanese man !!
I truly adore how SMART Japan people are !!!

  6. Since my old PS4 died of wrongly applied thermal paste I wondered if Sony had learned their lesson. And no they did not, the thermal paste in this video is utterly wrongly applied. Way to much paste causing heat problems on the borders of the APU.

  7. thank you for the break down ,I would love to get this but only being able to install maximum 2tb hard drive will be very annoying as you would have to remove games to install new ones

  8. In 2013, PS4 was released. In 2016, PS4 WITHOUT 4k blu-ray player built-in is released. So, I call it the upgraded PS4 because it's NOT PS5 with 4k blu-ray player built-in will released in the futture.

  9. I am very thankful that there is an official and public teardown video for this. It actually helped me decide to buy the PS4 Pro as I was not only interested in if the hard drive was kept easy to swap but also how easy it was to service if my warranty expired or was void for any reason. Also gave me a good idea of build quality and improvements over the original PS4. Ordered the pro shortly after seeing this.
