EP28: 14 Second Research! | Factorio Multiplayer Mega Base – SpaceX Plus


I am joined by ColonelWill, and the rest of the crew from the Reclaiming Earth series, and we have taken things to the next level for this series! Using KodiakJak’s idea as inspiration, we are using the Space Extension Mod (which is already greatly extends end-game), but have modified it to increase the science cost of the SpaceX research by 4x (Which means 1 million of each Science Pack for some researches), and the item costs by 10x (Example: 1000 Portable Fusion Reactors or Energy Shields MK2 for some recipes).
Will we complete our goal, or will the game break before we can!?

  1. I would like to see him by a MEGA TRAIN. 3 8 3 is not big enough. Build something that is like 30 80 30 and let that one kill him xDD

  2. Those production numbers are crazy, nice job building that iron eating monster, with that many trains can i sugest installing the mod called honk ? it simply adds horns to the trains :)

  3. when i first got my rocket fully beaconed, and launching as fast as it could, i THOUGHT it was an accomplishment, now i see this video… lol

  4. follower robot research completed faster than 14 seconds, because you multiplied the research by 4, so it should have taken 3.5 seconds or so i think

  5. The FTL drive would usually be the most expensive one, but because you multiplied all costs by ten, and the assembly component uses a spaceX intermediate product (whose cost is multiplies by ten also), the effective cost of the assembly component is much higher then the 10 times you intended.

  6. You can also show some like outpost building, alien artefact harvesting, solar building, train network upgrades etc. Module building

  7. I think there's a slight chance you need more accumulators and solar panels… Unbelievable I know but it might be necessary

  8. Love these updates! I thought my marathon mod factory was big, but this is colossal. And the video compression was not nearly as bad as I expected.

  9. You should add lights so we can better see what you are doing at night. That should be possible to add "easily" with a blueprint aligned to the spaces between the assemblers.
