GoGo l’escargot!

Express direction: Adrien Zancan.
Photos were taken in just 10 minutes (iPhone stand making include).

GoGo is a simple piece of foam vaguely resembling a snail (“escargot” in french). At my work, it is a sort of mascot.

– Camera: iPhone 3G
– Stand: a standard plastic cup, returned and cut

To assemble photos: Apple QuickTime + a home made AppleScript application (to do the same thing as QuickTime Pro: Open an image sequence).
To add music: Apple iMovie HD (6).

If you don’t have QuickTime Pro, here is my AppleScript application to open an image sequence (free and open source):
To save the video (menu is disabled), just close the QuickTime window, it will ask you if you want to save the file.
Works with Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard), not tested with other versions but optional modifications should be easy. Here is the source code:

Warsow 0.5 HD Trailer

Set in a futuristic cartoon-like world where rocketlauncher-wielding pigs and lasergun-carrying cyberpunks roam the streets, Warsow is a completely free fast-paced first-person shooter (FPS) for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X.

Speed and movement, that’s what Warsow is all about. Like a true cyberathlete you jump, dash, dodge and walljump your way through the game. Grab those power-ups before your enemy does, plant the bomb before anyone sees you, and steal the enemy’s flag before anyone knows what’s going on!
